At Forest View Care, we understand the importance of living independently while having access to the support you need. Our Support at Home Program is designed to provide comprehensive care tailored to your individual needs, ensuring you can enjoy the comfort of your home with confidence and peace of mind.
What is Support at Home care?
Support at Home care encompasses a wide range of services and support designed to enable individuals to live independently in their own homes for as long as possible. From assistance with daily activities of self-care, to domestic assistance with general cleaning and shopping, along with specialised nursing care, our Support at Home Program is there to support you every step of the way.

From November 1st, 2025, the Support at Home program was introduced to replace the Home Care Packages Program. Under Support at Home, you can access support for clinical care, independence and everyday living, as well as specialised services for culturally safe care. To understand more about the assessment process and funding available, please visit the My Aged Care website. Our Support at Home team at Forest View Care are also here to help with any questions that you may have.
The Support at Home Program
Forest View Care offers services for all four classification levels that existed under the Home Care Support Program. As well as services for the 8 new classification levels offered under the Support at Home Program. In addition to this, there are 3 short-term care pathways that older persons can access - Restorative Care Pathway, End-of-Life Pathway - and additional funding for assistive technology and home modifications.
Under the Support at Home program, an older person may be required to pay a contribution towards their care. There is a 'no worse off' principle that applies to those persons assessed as eligible for a package prior to 12 September 2024, meaning that they will continue to make the same contributions, or lower, than they would have under Home Care Package Program arrangements. If you are unsure about your contributions, or package levels under the new Support at Home Program, please get in contact with one of our helpful staff.
