At Forest View Care in Childers, we are a community-driven, comprehensive and compassionate aged care provider dedicated to respect, dignity and integrity. However we are more than that, we are a team of passionate carers who choose to invest our time and compassion to provide a home where every individual is supported to live a quality life.
Forest View Childers began in 1974, driven by a community-recognised need for supportive elder care accommodation. Five years later we proudly opened the first Retirement Village Units, building on this over the years as the village expanded for more communal areas and a Palliative Care House.
We now accommodate at-home care packages and thirty private ensuite rooms, and are still committed to providing personalised and dignified living experiences.

The spirit of Forest View Care is embodied by our team and the broader Childers community. Our staff, numbering 58 passionate individuals, include longstanding members who have dedicated over 20 years to our mission, a clear reflection of their commitment to the quality of life for our residents.
The unwavering support from the town has been instrumental in our growth, with notable contributions such as the community-funded bus. Monthly open days and the establishment of 2 Consumer Advisory Groups, one for Residents in the Aged Care Facility, and the other for Consumers of our Home Care Services, foster an inclusive atmosphere where dignity and respect are paramount in every aspect of our operations.
